This is Newport. Just 12km down the road from me. I nipped down the other morning for a few photos and I was delighted the water was so still. This is an inlet where the black oak river meets the Atlantic so between the tide and the river, still water is a rarely. I got a whole bunch of photos with reflections this being one of my favorites.. Of course the drone was super handy here to get out amongst the boats, just a couple of meters above the water.

This long exposure night photograph was taken from the Westminster Bridge looking towards the South Bank of River Thames, including London Eye and County Hall.

It was a windy night during my visit to London in October last year. The London Eye was temporarily stationary, with clouds seen drifting above. The light reflections of the structures in River Thames provided added interests to the nightscape.
