This is another New York City building reflection. Shooting and processing this type of photo are both interesting exercises. The processing in this case is built around the latest version of the Tony Kuyper (V6) luminosity mask plug in for Photoshop. There are several new very interesting actions associated with the latest version. The Smart Orton action is very useful.

Some impressions of a fascinating mountain lake with perfect reflections. My camera jumped into my hand and forced me to take a lot of shots. These are a few of them...There's no technical trick! The surface of this lake was so quiet and waveless that it really was hard to find out the line between reflection and real elements.

It was a relatively calm evening so I was lucky enough to find these reflections.

Took 3 raw files combined and tone mapped in Dynamic Photo HDR then tweaked a little in CS

This is a window from a university library, and is reflecting my friend. He doesn't have a clue that is being photographed. If you look close, you can see the books behind the reflection.

Taken for group '52 weeks: the 2018 Edition - week 30 Reflection'.

I love reflections in water but I've not been anywhere this week to capture that. I was tidying up and came across a glass cube.

This photo is a single petal on a blackboard with the glass cube on top. It's taken in daylight with flash from above. It's straight out of the camera with no post processing.

The photo is for everyone. I find it cool. SOOC with just some cropping and auto correction on Microsoft Windows.

31.01.2025. Reflection found at Belton House, Lincolnshire

In 2006, my daughter Christy and I spent a few days in Amsterdam before I was scheduled to teach a class in nearby Alkmaar for work. It was a fabulous experience! So, this time I returned to the Netherlands with my husband - no work involved. With so many bikes in the background, here's a reflection of Dick and I in a scooter mirror.

I posted a reflection of of my bird bath earlier in the week, this was taken at the same time... slightly different version of the same thing. I like how much color I was able to get out of the reflection :)

When will my reflection show who I am inside?

www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8GUCQQZS64

Look at me

You may think you see who I really am

But you'll never know me

Every day

It's as if I play a part

Now I see if I wear a mask

I can fool the world

But I cannot fool my heart

I am now in a world

Where I have to hide my heart

And what I believe in

But somehow I will show the world

What's inside my heart

And be loved for who I am

Why must we all conceal

What we think, how we feel?

Must there be a secret me I'm forced to hide?

I won't pretend that I'm someone else for all time

When will my reflection show who I am inside?

There's a heart that must be free to fly

That burns with a need to know

The reason why
