The water was so very still & beautiful. I spotted this Canada goose. His mate was hidden from view but not far away. I just had to reach for my camera...
Now you see why I don't get things done around here. I'm so easily distracted :-)

Wet sand reflections at sunrise, Mount Maunganui, New Zealand.
I almost slept through this, being exhausted after the late hike up a nearby peak for the evening blue hour, but thanks to the short winter days, and the location of my motel right on the beach, it took little effort to crawl out of bed to see what the sunrise would offer that morning.

Everyone takes the same photo of 30 St Marys Axe, also known at the Gherkin, truly a new London landmark. I wanted a different photo.

Short walkabout in Portsmouth near University buildings and to photo buildings and anything else !
I took this photo using a Tilt Shift Lens in San Francisco towards Market Street when I noticed that there were several layers of reflections - and it gives an illusion that cars are driving right through the store. Also images on right side are ones coming from streets behind me. Some of the reflections are inside the Ghiradeli store

This is an old picture that I found. I intended to post it a long time ago but never got around to it. It is a little stream out in the country (the middle of nowhere Kansas actually) that I drove by and turned around and went back to look again. The only thing I did to this was crop it. I hope you enjoy it.
Shoreham harbour cargo and fishing boats along from the power station. Lovely still, moonlit night for this sort of work.

The Bellinger River at Bellingen New South Wales.
Bellingen is a small town on Waterfall Way on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. It is approximately halfway between the major Australian cities of Sydney and Brisbane. It is the seat of Bellingen Shire and has a mixture of valley, plateau and coastal environments.
