Well… I returned home safely this morning from my two week photographic workshop on the Isle of Skye… with 68 Gigabytes worth of images!!

Although we had plenty of rain and loads of midges… that certainly didn’t prevent us from exploring every corner of the island… and shooting all the most iconic locations… in the best possible light!!

Here is one of my favourite shots from my most favourite iconic location of all… the Old Man of Storr… reflected in a tiny loch… and captured just as the clouds, light and reflections were looking at their very best.

I’d like to thank Jenny, Anne, Peter, Tom and Steven for sharing all these unforgettable experiences with me… I had an absolute blast shooting Skye with you guys (and girls)!!

It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.

An amazing calm fjord. In the background you can barely get a glimpse of the glacier, Folgefonna.

A female Sarus Crane (Antigone antigone) was taking bath in its natural bath tub while adjusting her drenched out feathers to its perfect positions by the beak. The water layer was her mirror for the decoration. The sequences of actions were mirrored perfectly in the blue water. I love the sweet pose, the head tilt just touching the water layer and so her reflection. A perfect synchrony in natural condition. Pics was taken from Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India.

I am looking forward to feedback on how to improve my photo skills. Do you have any?

This water was between a doc and a big boat in Toronto. I am fascinated by the beautiful pattern and nothing I saw made scene as to what made them look like this.

Had to take a comp there with these hanging branches. Liked this transition time as well with the colors in the higher overhead clouds.

Done for the Macro Monday theme, "Reflections." The glass containing the sand is just 2 inches long. And, this is a bit late; I've been busy with computer stuff. Anyhow, HMM!

Light trails reflection in some water in an (almost) empty swimming pool. Trails created using Denis Smith made lightflutes CH48 and HH815. Connected via LPB Universal Connectors to a @ryuslightworks V2 flashlight (4th brightness, 52Hz strobe) and Thorfire TK15S flashlight (50% output) respectively. f/8, 34secs, ISO200. Post processed from RAW exposure in Skylum Luminar 1.3.0 which I'm currently trialling as a Lightroom alternative.
