I was looking for something in my archive and found this instead

A view of Cambridge.

“I think that the best thing we can do for our children is to allow them to do things for themselves, allow them to be strong, allow them to experience life on their own terms, allow them to take the subway... let them be better people, let them believe more in themselves.”

Lake Matheson is one of New Zealand's most scenic icons. Situated on the West Coast of the South Island, in the heart of Glacier Country and Westland National Park, the Lake Matheson walk is a must do attraction for all visitors to Fox Glacier & Franz Josef Glacier. 'Picture Perfect' reflections of New Zealand's highest peaks Mt Cook & Mt Tasman can be captured in the dark waters of this ancient lake formed by the retreat of the Fox Glacier. A photographer's paradise!

Thought I would upload a sunset shot taken at Rhossili beach earlier in the summer this year. Sadly summer seems to have ended with a bang but just hoping for a nice September. This is for Anthony Dyke (check out his great photostream if you can) who has got bored taking sunset shots!!

Slightly different processing and no pedestrian, I hope you like it

Shallow waters lined with Mangroves run under a boardwalk that connects a trail in the Florida Keys.

Always beautiful...even upside down! :)

Taken on the mill pond in the Fairy Glen Rosemarkie

I got a little bored and took a silly selfie, I saw my reflection on the side of the bowl and couldn't resist!

This one was kinda fun. I lined the table with silicon, leveled it and filled it with about .5 inch of water. The glasses fell from about 8 feet and at the 7 foot mark each glass touched a metal rod. This caused each glass to move to the left and turn sideways. A few practice drops into a tray of rags allowed me to compose the image.

Parliament’s West Block reflected in the windows of the CD Howe building. The green grass and glass partition are a feature of an outdoor seating area with raised stone bleachers which surrounds an open courtyard / square - a popular spot for workers, residents and visitors to enjoy an outdoor picnic lunch during the summer work weeks.

“The C.D. Howe Building (French: Édifice C.D.-Howe) is an office tower in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, that is the home of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, the Office of the Auditor General and other smaller tenants. It was built by Olympia and York. The federal government sold the land to O&Y for a dollar and signed an agreement to lease the final building for a set rate until 2012. The eleven-story building was opened in 1978. It was named after C. D. Howe, a noted federal minister in the 1930s”

Happy Window Wednesday!

Explored #178 - 15 February 2014

A revisit of possibly the best sunset I have ever seen. Whilst I have posted photos of this boat previously, none have had this little water around it.
