Most of the time I photograph reflections in water when there is no or little wind resulting in reflections as a mirror. Sometimes people ask me if it ever is windy in Groningen. Well yes, and so here is the proof... :-)
Taken at Corpus den Hoorn, Groningen, The Netherlands.
Fuji X-E2 + XF10-24mm at 15mm, f/8, 15 sec. exposure at ISO 200.
Thanks to everyone who takes the time to comment and/or fave.

So finally we have some Autumn colour, although I am not sure how long the leaves will last with all the wind and rain we have been having! Taken on Lake Charles. Looks better bigger on black :o)
Bare tree branches reflected in a glass block window in Dartmouth. I love the electric play of light and reflections happening in each glass block, and the layered presence of the highlights on the glass blocks that intermingle with the off-set tree branch reflections in the top half of the image. Reflections are so visually engaging.
An aerial view over Reflection Canyon at extreme low water level this year.
Lake Powell is the second largest man-made reservoir in the United States. It locates on the Colorado River in Utah and Arizona, United States. Plagued by climate change-fueled drought and increasing demand for water, it has fallen to its lowest level on record since it was first filled more than 50 years ago. When the lake level had dropped far enough that the exposed canyon walls created a pale outline around the lake. This is how Reflection Canyon, one of side canyon in the lake powell, was seen during the lowest water level.

When it gets too dark to see with the naked eye, I play with light to capture traces of a performance of dancing light and human stillness. During the few seconds while the picture is being taken, Kim looks at the stars in the silence of the night. In those moments it seems like time has slowed down.
Low pov puddle reflection shot of Hanbury Street, with the eyes of street art by Jaycees & a short lived painted advert going up on the wall of the Banglatown cash & carry.
This is the reflection of trees and shrubs seen in the pond below. I like how there was a little ripple in the water, making it slightly abstract. I did edit the color (white balance) to make it slightly cooler and I increased the contrast and vibrance a little to bring out all the colors. The reflection itself is untouched.

Don't even remember the last time I took a decent picture with my phone, despite having a better one for photography for months now.

SlidersSunday... Sailboat masts and the Vinoy Resort reflected in the St. Pete Florida Tampa Bay waterfront.
Silver Birch, reflected in Valehouse reservoir - and rather like my scrambled brain at the moment! Please excuse any lack of comments or new photos over the next few weeks, due to health issues. I'll try to drop in from time to time and hopefully things should get back to to normal around Easter onwards.
