This was a wonderful day of fun and frolics with old friends and new, in one of the most incredible buildings. We were like big kids in a gigantic playground... who could ask for more. This is a photo of reflections on the surface of winterizing plastic sheeting on a window that looks like an ancient warrior's helmet.

It was one of those things that you simply cannot pass. That day there was no wind, so the lake's surface was completely still.

The area is called Staðarsveit, and it's in the southern part of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. And the mountain is called Þorgeirsfell.
