When it gets too dark to see with the naked eye, I play with light to capture traces of a performance of dancing light and human stillness. During the few seconds while the picture is being taken, Kim looks at the stars in the silence of the night. In those moments it seems like time has slowed down.
This is the reflection of trees and shrubs seen in the pond below. I like how there was a little ripple in the water, making it slightly abstract. I did edit the color (white balance) to make it slightly cooler and I increased the contrast and vibrance a little to bring out all the colors. The reflection itself is untouched.

The stunning reflection of the promenade lights along West Beach, White Rock, British Columbia. These unfortunate circumstances had led to the closure of the promenade but thankfully access to the beach is available from two places.
On a hike on the Asitz.

As I cut the top of the cloud (the real one) I needed to fix that in PS. First I expanded the canvas size and then used content aware fill to fill the blank area. Some cloning & stamping later I got a fake top for the cloud. Then I adjusted the luminance level of the blues and that was about it.
The reflections in the sand were not vivid enough in this picture of Manly Beach, so Photoshop Elements helped things along, and made a suitable submission for the Sliders Sunday group, where too much processing is encouraged. HSS to everyone!
Silver Birch, reflected in Valehouse reservoir - and rather like my scrambled brain at the moment! Please excuse any lack of comments or new photos over the next few weeks, due to health issues. I'll try to drop in from time to time and hopefully things should get back to to normal around Easter onwards.

When the day fades in Galicia, silence speaks.
A lone boat rests on still waters, mirroring a sky painted in fire and shadow.
Pobra do Caramiñal — where industry, nature and memory meet in perfect balance.
A moment suspended between light and reflection. 🌅✨
