A reflection shot from Wednesday in the creek next to the Brushy Mountain trail, I was a bit gassed and taking artsy fartsy pix! :-D A shot looking straight down into the creek and that's my head at the top. Rotated 180 degrees for effect. The colors reminded me of potpourri.
Worked my 10 hour shift today, followed by the 4 mile walk.... light headed even before the weekend beer! :-))))
Another weather front advancing and its pretty cold on the beach. Apart from a few dog walkers and worm catchers, I have it to myself.
now you: reflection
a week with family will make you reflect on so many things. on who you are, how you fit in, the role you play in the lives of these people, in your children's lives, the roles you hope to play, the perceptions you have of others and the ones they have of you.
i shot this just before slipping into bed on vacation with my husband's family in an old rambling farmhouse with lots of mirrors, in the adirondacks. i reflected on these people that have come into my life, the way i interact with them or choose not to.
we were celebrating my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary, looking at old albums and slides. i feel like i reflected all week.... this week's theme was perfect.

I recently went to Glasgow for work and took a walk along the river Clyde to see the Squinty bridge and get some reflections...
Random puddle reflection shot in Amsterdam. Taken with my HTC Desire using the Camera360 Android app. No editing or magic tricks besides whatever that app did to the picture, no Photoshop :)
I've bitched and complained about this already a lot in the last 3 months, I am currently working 5 instead of my usual 4 days, and this is taking away all the time I usually reserve for shooting pictures and movies, so I have to improvise and take any chance I get to be able to create some photos on my way to the office, or the supermarket, or wherever it is I'm going. This is no fun, and the quality and quantity of my creative output is diminishing on a daily basis, something I don't appreciate and that I intend to reverse as soon as possible. Until then, these quick snap shots will have to do, I hope you're not too upset that you're having to look at these not-so-wicked reflections, lol :D
