About:
Inspiration is the game of the game! I was inspired last week, due to several factors:
- being busy with my images from Canada
- seeing sunrise pictures from Erroba
- talking to my coworker Kim to find some interesting locations for a sunrise shoot this weekend
So I set my alarm this morning for a morning session to get out to photograph the sunrise with some mist. The mist was a little ticker than expected but tried to get some nice sunrise pictures, the results are not what I had in mind upfront, but still happy with the results I got.
The most beautiful were gone but I was not giving up on this location and the misty morning, walking around I found this set of tree nicely reflected in the livestock watering
Location:
Borsbeek, Belgium
This image is also geotagged
If you look at the map, you won't see any water, because this livestock watering was just recently made for better water maintenance in the "Koude Beek"
Technical stuff:
Exposure: 0,4 sec at f/11 at
Taken with: NIKON D300S and 10-20 mm f/4-5.6 at 20
7 bracketed shots from -4 to +2, HDR processing with Photomatix
In Lightroom I reduced the vignetting which was too much to my liking, I know other people probably love that, I don't :)
Usage:
All my images are copyrighted, if you want to use it for anything contact me first.
Any comments, criticism and tips are welcome.
- Reflective back shows my hand waving above the iPod. Only one focal depth possible, as the camera is f/0.8. Black is the reflected cooler ceiling of the room.
- Non-reflective engraved surface shows actual heat of the iPod ... which matches the blanket's ambient room temp.
- Note slight heat in the upper right of the iPod. I took a few pics of the front of the Ipod, and there was a hot spot on the left side of the LCD. This is leaking onto the blanket.
Ken Taylor giving us a tour of his home and explaining hunting, taxidermy and the experience of living in the bush, which is mandatory in certain seasons.
A bit of reflection today, pardon the pun, sticking to my favourite type of pic....soft, wispy, feminine, dreamy, should I say more...no, I think you all get my point. ENJOY.

The Phoenix Theater in Petaluma California. I was told that the graffiti here in back of the theater only lasts about 24 hours before it is covered over by more graffiti. This graffiti is not just allowed it is encouraged. Painting the bare brick is discouraged.
