Reflections on Almiros river close to Heraklion, Crete

Reflections, patterns, wiggly lines in a scene interrupted by blue give you a water abstract.

Every time I brush my teeth, I see reflections in the faucet, from the light itself or of something nearby. That gave me this idea ;-) So this morning after breakfast I brushed my teeth, then cleaned the sink and faucet, added my toothbrush ( you can see a part of the real one in the right corner below) and then took this picture.

Surprisingly there was the shadow, as a extra bonus ;-))

This is a flipped reflection of an elderly couple taking a walk by the lake at my local RHS Gardens, Hyde Hall. I thought it had a bit of an impressionist feel!
