Wie ihr sehen könnt, gefällt mir die Spiegelung auf meinem (nicht entspiegelten) Bildschirm .. 😎👍

As you can see, I like the reflection on my (non-reflective) screen... 😎👍

I enjoyed capturing this the moment i saw this because, the reflection of the tree was for some reason exactly matched the sign on the signboard for a men's room. I was not sure if i should post this; decided to go ahead just see how people liked it........ Hope you like it.

Reflection of a streetlamp on the glass windows on a building on Compton Street. I like they have incorporated the bright modern additions to the original stone building.

The lake at Chevetogne

This image is a single frame, not a composite or double exposure. I make use of glass and puddles to bring a different dimension to some of my images. Additionally I use a polarized filter in order to find the best possible reflection by avoiding unwanted glare or shiny surfaces.

Not photoshop, just a window. ;-) Taken while waiting for Thai takeaways to be cooked.

Edit: The woman in the background is also my daughter and has long since thought her Dad a bit odd;-)

Unedited window reflection of the Media Markt of Amsterdam. Taken with a Sony HX200V. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop :)

Every 2 weeks or so I go on a little bike trip to some remote village or forgotten area of Amsterdam (like the Southeast, where the Media Markt is situated and where I took these shots) and write an article about it for the 'Dam in 60 minutes' series in 'The Sentinel', a magazine that shares the love for the best city in the world and everything around it with the rest of the planet. If you want to enjoy these fun journeys too, you can do so by virtually going with me here :)

Artist’s Statement:

One of my favorite things to do while I was living in Kyiv, Ukraine was to wander around the city with my camera. I was mesmerized by the beautiful architecture and the culture which is so different than American. I was strolling through the city one day looking for things that caught my eye. While getting ready to cross the street, I tried to avoid stepping in a large slush puddle. I happened to notice an interesting reflection and decided to take a picture of it. I felt like I had discovered a new way to view the world! I began to see the city through its reflections and this process brought me to St. Michael’s Golden Dome Monastery captured in this puddle reflection. It is one of the most significant Orthodox Churches in Ukraine and I love the complementary colors of blue and gold which made it a wonderful place to photograph. I was thrilled to find a puddle which I was able to get a clear reflection of the bell tower with just about the entire onion dome on top.

This image is symbolic of my reflecting on life while living there, my spiritual growth and the creative force that drives me to pursue my photography with a passion.

Another picture of the dragonly. I like the reflection from his wings.

A different one for me. This shot was taken in sharp focus on a tripod on a virtually still day last week.

It's not ICM or a ME.

I had been taking some shots of the reflections of the trees at Yew Tree Tarn & experimented with the shutter speeds which resulted in this composition.

I'm quite pleased with the result.
