We were in DC for the sunrise at the Lincoln Memorial. This color lasted like 10 minutes and then was gone into a dreary cloudy day. Glad we were there while it lasted. You can see the US Capitol, Washington Monument, World War II Monument, Library of Congress dome, and Smithsonian Castle, a nice view.
This year's Home Show is a wonderful display of everything home decor and garden related.
We are happy to bring our new Oasis line to the party!
With this event we introduce a new way we are presenting some of our home decor items:
→ FRESH & FADED ←
Each item will come in two versions with each color: Fresh & Faded. Want something to look squeaky clean and brand spanking new? Fresh is the way to go. Like things to look a bit aged, a little worn, a bit forgotten? Faded is just right for you.
✵Reflecting pools date all the way back to ancient Persian origins, we bring to you our Oasis version with the *pm* Oasis Reflecting Pool.
Only 2 LI as rezzed. Detailed pools perfect for a garden or courtyard. These pools come with animated water, moving ever so slightly and calmly. Comes in 4 colors.
A LEE .6 Hard ND filter was hand held for the shot. Added another .6 ND in LR 5 to make the sky pop.
Lincoln memorial reflected in the reflecting pool on the National Mall at dusk sunset. Long exposure
Another batch from the We Are One inaugural concert on the National Mall. This is it for now, really. This is one of the few I got of this guy actually showing what he was painting.
Walt Disney World, Epcot - 07/19/13
It's taken a long time to find him this year. I always check the reflecting pools at the China Pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase. He's always been there before.
Perhaps he's been busy; I know he had selected a "girlfriend" last year. I was hoping I stood at least a little bit of a chance this year. He was coy and played it cool this visit; so, we'll see. Perhaps I won't be interested if he takes too long...
Beautiful weather early Wednesday morning at Missouri Botanical Garden. Saint Louis, Missouri.
Seven image HDR.
This was taken almost at the waterline. Image cropped somewhat. Perhaps these are the parents of the ducklings I saw later in the spring! Taken at the relecting pool in Washington, D.C. That’s the Lincoln Memorial in the background.

As a yoga/dance class breaks up at Peavey Plaza in Minneapolis on a hot Summer night, participants get their final stretches in.
Our destination in Plaza de las Naciones Unidas (United Nations Square) was to check out Floralis Genérica.
Floralis Genérica sculpture is by Buenos Aires born architect Eduardo Fernando Catalano (1917-2010).
Catalano made the sculpture in the US. It was built by Lockheed Martin and placed above a reflecting pool at the Buenos Aires plaza in 2002.
Catalano kept a distinctly Buenos Aires desire in himself - the urge to donate something to the city.
What he gave, has been described as an "environmental kinetic sculpture".
Floralis Genérica is a flower made of stainless steel and aluminum, 23 meters high and sits in a water feature in Plaza de las Naciones Unidas y Floralis Genérica.
The flower moves. Its 6 petals close at sunset and open in the morning at 8 AM. The flower span varies from 26 to 32 meters and is illuminated at night.
