The 33-story First National Center, built in 1931, is reflected in the south tower of the modern Leadership Square in Downtown Oklahoma City.
After yesterdays slightly damp visit to Dunstanburgh castle Mel and I decided that with the promise of a better forecast we would again return to the same location. I had been very interested in getting a shot of the castle reflected in the now flooded field to the northwest as this is not a typical view of Dunstanburgh and who knows how long this situation will last.
These two shots by Mel give some idea of the change in the field from pasture to lake.
This shot by Mel gives a wider view of the new lakes location to the left of the castle.

Drama over the Frankfort Light
This is one of those images I have always thought had potential, but I could never seem to get the post processing to give me the right look. I took this photo back in September 2013 shortly after getting my first micro four thirds camera, the Olympus OM-D E-M5. Back in 2013, I was just getting started with processing RAW files using Lightroom. I come back to it on occasion, trying do to a better job with the highlights and shadows, but was never satisfied with my results. Today, I came back to this photo as I was browsing through my catalog and decided to give it a try in Luminar. While I could probably spend more time with it, I do think that I was able to get something that works and reflects the type of drama in the skies that I have always been trying to capture.

I saw a strong reflection in the nearby water. I used some postprocessing to enhance this..

I was looking for a place thats for off any city lights and therefore decided to visit the "Feldsee" thats underneath the Feldberg, which is the highest mountain of the Black Forest.
Never managed to get this shot before, either no rain (bizarrely), too many people, no people... Lucky tonight though!

New York City (NYC) viewed from Jersey City, NJ. It was a great night for shooting as the Hudson was perfectly calm. Venus star trail is also visible just above the city. This was towards the end of a long photo shoot overnight and ended with high tide coming in and me not noticing that fact until too late. All was well though except for a bit of a soaking.
