About Semuc Champey, Guatemala
Semuc Champey is a natural monument in the department of Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, near the Q'eqchi' Maya town of Lanquín. It consists of a natural 300 m limestone bridge, under which passes the Cahabón River. Atop the bridge is a series of stepped, turquoise pools, a popular swimming attraction. Although it can be difficult to get to, Semuc is becoming more and more popular with travelers.

Two sunken pools in the footprints of the Twin Towers; the pools lie 30ft below ground level, filled with large man-made waterfalls.
Around the edge are the names of all the victims who died in the 2001 attacks and the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing.
I came across a lavoir in a remote location near Lucay le Male (36) France. The water was crystal clear and reflected a bright sun.

Paris, France, le Palais royal. The fountains of Pol Bury are currently being cleaned while the courtyard in which they sit is under renovation. I find them fascinating, even without their usual flow of water.
