Found this archived image of two silver spoons reflecting, basically, everything they could possibly reflect in the room.
Interesting how you can change your angle just a little bit and get such a different shot. I took the next photo 2 minutes after this one, from a slightly different angle, and the water looks totally different.
I was at Golden Ponds before the big Rockies two foot snow, maybe 14 inches here at the Longmont, Boulder County greenbelt and rec area and I was in no particular hurry so I stumbled around the first pond and finally looked up and saw the sky. Usually I head out after examining the vertical and wide prospects. This spot is surrounded by city and the turn into the rec. area is just a few car blocks away from home base. I wanted to look for possible locations even though the sky has been the pits recently and bagged shooting. I checked the incoming clouding so I could gauge the longevity of my trek. I have moved faster but this is slow-moving weather.
This scene includes some reflected sky, the fall has fell but autumn shouts this bold image. I liked the sky. I augmented the cloud separations for the presentation. I knew I'd have some work to try to contain the range. I wandered the green space and took some detail shots that were available, I mostly neglected including the sky. I love shooting these scenes with this camera and lens.

The unique Picasso condos reflected in the glass of nearby Queen Richmond Centre West. I have photographed this reflection in the evening but thought the daytime reflection was equally striking.

The sandstone canyon wall hidden from our view reflects the noon light onto the
curving wall in front of us. At our feet is the Virgin River.
