I was reflecting on how far we have come in our technology and wondering what is next.

Are you confused?

I am. Photoshop really distract me and make me do silly things.

I liked the reflection but not the whole things around the picture.

Remembering a pleasant evening on the Lancaster Canal

Been saving this...the minute I took it I knew it would be a bokeh Wednesday shot. :) This is from Michigan, by the way. I have more shots from that trip coming soon; I've been so busy with clients lately...and I have another tomorrow. GAH!! But I'm not complaining! :)

HBW!!

My day at Arches wasn't the best. It started out very gloomy and dark, but then the sun popped up and brightened my day :)

In just a few days Spring shall commence. Yet, the forecast calls for a windchill in the minus 20 Celsius range over the next few nights. Seems like winter just doesn't want to let go.

The above is a shot of trees reflecting on a watery section of the Cornwall Canal at sunset several weeks ago when there was a thaw (much warmer back then than now).

This is a very plentiful bird, we see them everywhere. This time we could not pass up the opportunity as all things were in our favor, bird, water, light. There was so much to see in Merced NWR. The Merced National Wildlife Refuge encompasses 10,258 acres of wetlands, native grasslands, vernal pools, and riparian areas.

Spent some time outside yesterday with the wife and taking a lot of handheld images. The sun was shining and the remaining colors were beautiful.

Reflecting.

It gives the appearance that this pelican is perhaps reflecting on the days events by staring at the reflections of the water as it passes by.

Went on a 4 day backpacking trip to mineral king and it was amazing! Not much cloud cover but some really calm mornings. No wind at all. None. Which led to some epic reflections in these ponds!
