The Romans used redux as an epithet for the Goddess Fortuna with its "bringing back" meaning; Fortuna Redux was "one who brings another safely home."

I'll hope all my Flickr friends come safely through Covid times.

I didn't like the original post as much as I'd hoped by the time I got done making it...So I made another ;P
So, work was a little too busy today to have posted earlier , but here is my option for the MM theme. It’s a mixture of danger and reflection and one other of the MM themes which I cannot remember for the mo.
What is it was the other option!!
Thanks for stopping HMM all
Four crimson seeds.
I watched the juice drip from the tips of my fingers like blood. It speckled the ground at my feet and my heart lept in my chest. I was already a goddess, a glowing queen crowned by the sun.
But then I became more, an empress of death. I lost myself in his darkness and never looked back. The green vines and pink petals gave way to the pitch, bible-black of the underworld and I was home.
Base Strait divides Tasmania from Victoria and this storm is off the coast from Inverloch, in Victoria, Australia. Even though it was way out to sea, it was putting on a magnificent display of "shock and awe" . . . .Sigma 70-300 mm f4-5.6 APO DG Macro

Macro Mondays: Redux 2017-Bokeh
I guess I missed World Photography Day yesterday, but I still can say that photography has changed my life - or more so the people, the photographers, from all over the world who I have met through sharing our photographic passion have impacted my world view. With social media and the ease of sharing through smart phones and wifi, photography could well be surpassing music as the universal language. Thanks all you snappers, pro or not, having physically met or not, for sharing your views of the world.

Black and white re-edit of a shot from August 2017. The colour version was one of my earlier Explored shots here on Flickr. Wishing you all a fantastic weekend of photography - enjoy!
A redux of several themes -- made of metal, B&W, and found in the kitchen. This is a macro of an egg whisk -- somewhat semi-abstract and I thought the monochrome would enhance it a little. Hope you enjoy -- HMM and a Happy New Year to all!

For this Redux challenge I chose to revisit Glass. This is part of a small glass paperweight that I created in Deadwood Wyoming at a studio called Mind Blown ( www.mindblownstudio.com/services.html) while on Vacation. it was Hot but such a fun experience! I've used this little paperweight before in photos so I wanted to change it up a bit and so I added some red shiny paper to the background and lit it with a flashlight. Pretty happy with the results. :) Have a great day everyone!

I have been shuffling though some of my work done ten years or so ago and made a new montage of a favourite theme of mine. Old wine in a new bottle or new wine in an old bottle? Still tastes the same!
