Just 8 months ago the Gabetti website looked as picted upper left, starting from July we worked hard to publish a brand new website with all the bells and whistles a website should have in 2007 (XHTML+CSS, accessibility, cool interfaces, some ajax magic, usability and a little bit of web2.0ness).
The first result (picted at bottom left) was a dead-man-walking, low budget version of the site created in a couple of weeks and useful to convey the Group new identity.
You can now take a look at the fully redesigned brand new website
I was looking at one of my baby Andalite pictures I did a while ago and
realised the legs were WAY too stubby so I decided to rectify that problem.
I always figured that baby Andalites had these long foal-like legs with a
chubbier upper torso. Their legs would be the same height as an adult
Andalite, much like a lot of ungulates. I considered prey animals and many
young have long fluffy hair along their backs (I was keeping baby king
cheetahs in mind for reference). I figure the tail could stick up while
they crouch in the grass and do a fair impression of a sapling Derrishoul
Tree. :)
I'm getting all the feels for Animorphs and Andalites again. Comic is
starting back up and I'm almost done with an Aldrea piece I'm pretty pumped
about. Stay tuned!
The new oval table is the appropriate shape and size for the room. The original rectangular table was too large and didn't fit within the new configuration of the room. The new dining table has two leaves that can be added for additional seating. Client keeps one leaf in it at all times, and adds the 2nd for when she wants to entertain a larger group.
New @mlive #site #redesign apparently targeted to @umich grads. Also: "yellow" on a "journalism" site. Wait. Whut?! #psychologyofcolor
Cover design for the September 1, 2010 issue of The Oakland Post at Oakland University in Rochester, MI. This was the first cover of the new semester and following the redesign that our staff worked on throughout the summer. The overall goal of the redesign process was to create a more reader-friendly product in terms of layout and content.
Some of the major goals of the redesign were to create a more uniform look through typefaces, color palettes, and all elements of page design. We also worked to expand the readability by creating more sidebars of continuing/expected content every week. Nearly all elements of the newspaper were redesigned including the logo, table of contents layout, all fonts (body copy, sidebars, headlines, etc...), colors, section titles, graphics, nation/world layout and the features section layout.
The idea behind this cover was to incorporate the elements of The Oakland Post's redesign (color palette and type faces). The campus was also under heavy construction in many areas which was tied into the theme of this cover: the campus and the newspaper being renovated.

I am SO happy with how my (near complete) IKEA bedroom turned out. Soon, I will add a nice sitting area by the window to overlook the garden. :)
How would the BBC frontpage look if you could thread news like a search result. (made with the help of www.bbc.co.uk/guidelines/gel/ )

The website redesign for Forio is nearly complete. We're making extensive use of WordPress throughout the site to keep content fresh. Thus turning the site into a freakish half-blog / half-corporate chimera.
