The clients existing logo was terrible and had gotten damaged by repeated copying of copies. It was overly complicated and illegible. I endeavored to capture the essence of the machine without confusing the issue. I thought it was cool how the letters formed the wheels. The client was extremly satisfied and comissioned similar logos for other facets of his business (excavation, hauling, etc.)

Greens and browns...need to add some more texture on the couch...maybe some turquoise blue? The stool is re-purposed.. it's been 're-covered' several times now! What a great thrift find it was!

I spent a good chunk of time today, reworking a graduation robe to fit Genna better. After trimming the length to fit her arms, it was still like wings instead of sleeves. Of course, it isn't the prettiest sewing job in history, but I was excited to actually have it fit after I finished.

Next I reworked this cool vintage pair of bell bottoms into 3 Gryffindorish scarves.

either clipper redesigned their lighter or i bought a fake one.

that said, what at first looks like a more convenient design (as the hexagonal design offers more grip), it's crap: it's fuglier and not as comfortable as the "old" circular design.

of course, the millions they'll save on all those shavings are not to be disregarded (remember colgate?), if this is a real clipper and not a fake.

6mm brass rod with M6 thread. can be replaced with M6 SHCS. File a flat for the MB Mk6 grub screw.

Shedding some insight on the real BP and their operations...

With the most recent design update to Facebook's photo lightbox I find myself scratching my head a bit. While I know you can't please everyone I often feel like Facebook makes design changes not design improvements. Merely making something different, not better.

My goal was to take a very small amount of time - about an hour and a half in this case and design something I thought was better in order to get feedback on it. I started with some really basic sketches, then went straight into visual design.

The rules were simple: it has to blend in to Facebook's existing look and feel: flat colors, no gradients, minimal use of icons and so on.

My overall goal was to simplify the presentation to optimize photo viewing and commenting part of this meant consolidating the photo options, especially those not used very much (like rotate, etc.)
