IKEA has redesigned the accessories marketplace (lower level) of its West Chester store and now has updated displays, new products and a redesigned layout for its cookware, bedding, lighting, home organization and textiles departments, among others. Photo provided.
Hopefully I will have it done this month. What you see right now is 33% done.
I think it will end up breaking the 800px width rules... And I might not care. :) Mostly because of the images I want to put in, though I know I can resize those with CSS. Meh, like I said, only 33% done.
The piece:
One of my clients had this diamond shaped pendant. It was not attached to anything. She asked me to create a necklace for it.
Redesign:
I found matching mother of pearl beads, Swarovski crystals and brass findings and chain to match the original piece. I also made earrings to match the piece.

Since March I've been busy redesigning the Montreal General Hospital's Medical and Nurses' Libraries websites.
Here's a sneak peek of the new website (right) compared to the current one (left).

that said, what at first looks like a more convenient design (as the hexagonal design offers more grip), it's crap: it's fuglier and not as comfortable as the "old" circular design.
of course, the millions they'll save on all those shavings are not to be disregarded (remember colgate?), if this is a real clipper and not a fake.

Newsletters are one of the staples in Interactive Marketing. For Skil, LACED worked closely with Skil's team to create a Newsletter Template that could be re-used each month. This template cut down on costs and was able to reach their target market effectively.
Each month, Skil would deliver the content for the newsletter and LACED would handle the rest. Ensuring the right design to catch the target audience's eye, LACED and Skil were able to engage readers and increase the newsletter following.
That's pretty much it. Just a bit of heavy lifting to do to get pretty archive pages, plus a bit of PHP monkeying to make the contextual information at the top of the page more, er, contextual.
Website redesign for Grid4 Communications in celebration of their 10th anniversary. Everything from accessibility and structure to graphics and content was reworked to provide customers, partners and employees a more user-friendly web experience. I worked on this project with Grid4's in-house marketing team to develop the design, functionality and message of the new site.
Grid4 is an IP communications company headquartered in Troy, MI. They provide businesses with voice, Internet, hosted VoIP and multi-location telecommunication services.

A redesigned Kadarka wine bottle. Kadarka is a Hungarian wine, heavily drunk during an epic war battle between Hungary and the Turks. This wine led - according to the legend - to victory and freedom for all Hungarians. The Wine is believed to be made from Bull Blood, hence it's very dark color and "exquisite" taste.
