So let me redefine you
And you can see the tide move
Just like tears in the eyes do
And when you're feeling alone
Oh, baby, I'll be right here
Between the sea and silence
So breathe easy my dear
You can find sunshine in the rain
I will come running when you call my name
Even a broken heart can beat again
Forget about the one who caused you pain
I swear I'll love you in a different way

Sometimes it’s easy to get carried away with our so-called accomplishments. We spend our lifetimes collecting achievements, earning praise and recognition, and seeking approval – so much so that we lose sight of what is truly meaningful.
If being peaceful and loving are your primary goals, then why not redefine your most meaningful accomplishments as being those that support and measure qualities such as kindness and happiness?
Rather than being consumed exclusively with external accomplishments, try putting more emphasis on what’s really important. When you redefine what it means to achieve a meaningful accomplishment, it helps you to stay on your path.

Gilliam, a towering figure of 20th-centruy American Art, redefined the possibilities of abstract painting. This work exemplifies the undulating movement, form and colour that swirled across the surfaces of his canvasses in the 1960s. His signature bevelled edges accentuate the depth of the painting as it projects into the viewer’s physical space.

With two Le Mans wins, dozens of grand prix victories, five Targa Florios, a Manufacturers’ Championship, and the build of some of the pre-war period’s most celebrated sports and luxury automobiles to its credit, it is no wonder that the Bugatti marque is regularly honored at world-class concours d’elegance and museums. The Molsheim, France-based brand is so esteemed that a commemoration of its 100th anniversary was never in doubt. So when the occasion arrived in 2009, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance duly pronounced Bugatti’s centenary as one of the event’s guiding themes.
This opportunity was not lost on Bugatti Automobiles SaS, the modern successor to Ettore Bugatti’s original Alsatian concern. The company’s signature product, the 1,001-horsepower Veyron 16.4, had spent years in careful development by the VW Group’s specialized engineers, and was received with justifiable acclaim by journalists and enthusiasts alike upon its 2005 introduction, redefining the benchmark for the modern hypercar in the process.
The Veyron was capable of accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.46 seconds, en route to a top speed just over 408 km/h (nearly 254 mph). Built around a magnificent mid-mounted, quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W-16 engine with four valves per cylinder and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, it astonished the world with its surefootedness even at the most extreme speeds, enabled by a full-time Haldex all-wheel-drive system. The stopping power was stunning, as the Veyron was anchored by massive carbon-ceramic disc brakes with 15.7-inch discs and eight-piston, four-pad calipers up front, while 15-inch discs with six-piston, two-pad calipers were mounted at the rear. The alloy wheels, respectively 20 and 21 inches at the front and rear, were shod with special Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 PAX run-flat tires engineered specifically for the Veyron.
Three different drive modes governed the dizzying array of technology: a Normal mode, at which the ride height was 4.9 inches; a Handling mode that deployed the rear spoiler and lowered ride height to 3.15 inches; and a special, key-activated High-Speed mode that dropped ride height to 2.56 inches in front and 2.75 at the rear, while changing the spoiler position. Even the car’s ancillary systems, including no fewer than 10 radiators, were marvels of automotive engineering conceived to perform under the most demanding circumstances.
All of this was encased within an intricately hand-crafted structure, actually shorter in overall length than a modern Porsche 911, though riding on a longer 106.7-inch wheelbase, while being noticeably lower and wider than the benchmark German sports car of the day. It was instantly and definitively recognizable as the pinnacle product that it aspired to be—the modern Bugatti, a sporting speed machine that looked and performed like absolutely nothing else on the road.
💫🎨 The Artist’s Muse by \[HJ]
Jewelry for the ones who inspire… and the ones who enchant.
They call me the muse.
But I prefer to think of myself as the mystery behind the masterpiece—the woman who bends light into emotion, who walks like a dream someone once painted on velvet, and who wears the Artist’s Muse Jewelry Set by \[HJ] like it was made from the stars that fell just for her.
I didn’t choose this set.
It chose me.
The design
This isn’t your average sparkle. This is symbolism—wrapped in silver, kissed with clarity, and dripping with surrealist elegance. The earrings shimmer with an eye motif, a sacred symbol of inspiration and perception throughout the ages. Think Cleopatra’s kohl-lined gaze, reimagined in sculptural form with glistening teardrop accents that catch the light like secrets whispered in a gallery at midnight.
Around my neck, the necklace commands silence.
It’s a sunburst of artistic chaos—an explosion of tiny sculpted rays, balanced by a delicately suspended crystal-encrusted lip charm. Bold, sensual, and utterly unforgettable, it channels both Dalí's divine madness and Botticelli's divine beauty. A little surreal, a little celestial… and entirely me.
✨ The mood
The Artist’s Muse isn’t just jewelry—it’s storytelling. It's the kind of set that belongs to someone who doesn't just pose for paintings… she redefines them. I wear it when I want to feel like myth and masterpiece all at once. I wear it when I want to be remembered.

Historical influence
This set draws on centuries of artistic obsession—from the Renaissance muses immortalized in oil, to the surrealist visions of the 20th century. It fuses mythology, femininity, and fantasy into wearable art. Think Venus meets Vogue, with just a hint of cosmic rebellion.
So go ahead.
Be the vision.
Be the echo in a painter’s memory.
Be the Artist’s Muse.

"Wrentits form tight monogamous pair bonds, which are normally lifelong. Both sexes defend the territory throughout the year with distinctive songs that have been aptly called "the voice of the chaparral." The male habitually shares in incubation and is normally in vocal contact at all times with the female, and the pair is even known to roost together, forming contiguous "feather-balls," and to mutually preen. The young commonly remain in family flocks for at least 30 days after fledging and, on occasion, use their natal territory for breeding.
With few exceptions, most of our current knowledge on the behavior, life history, breeding ecology, and demography of the Wrentit has come from two studies, both in the San Francisco Bay region of California. Most information on life-history originated from Mary M. Erickson, under the guidance of Professor Joseph Grinnell, in an intensive 4-year study in a chaparral canyon in Berkeley, California (Erickson 1938). Her insightful and highly detailed study (summarized in a 332-page monograph), followed, year-round, the life history of 21 territorial pairs and individuals. "

This handsome male Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus), was seen scanning the vicinity late in the evening. He later stood up and rejoined the rest of the coalition.
Cheetahs normally sit in a vantage point to view the surrounding area for any prey which they are quick to chase down.

I might add, this was my late father’s and is older than me. But only just!
I’m intrigued by his handwritten notes inside the cover which include a rendition of the Greek alphabet.

Nitroglobus is proud to announce the return of acclaimed artist Kian with his new exhibition DRAG.ed & FRAME.d, on view throughout December 2025 at The Annex of Nitroglobus.
After his last showing, Zornian Women (June 2023), I repeatedly invited Kian to present new work. His return marks not only a renewed collaboration but also a striking continuation of his distinctive artistic voice.
In DRAG.ed & FRAME.d, Kian delves into themes that lie at the heart of his practice—humor, daring aesthetic choices, and provocative conceptual play. The series moves fluidly “between power and vulnerability,” as the artist describes, exploring identity, performativity, and the thresholds between constructed and perceived selves.
Kian is back with a topic that is unmistakably his. His work is daring, humorous, and thought-provoking, encouraging visitors to look beyond boundaries and conventions. I’m sincerely happy to welcome him again to Nitroglobus.
Visitors are encouraged to read Kian’s accompanying text, which offers a deeper look into the conceptual motivations behind the exhibition.

Description by the artist:
Welcome to Drag.ed and Frame.d—an intimate visual journey shaped through the art of drag and the boundless possibilities of photography. These images reveal a character who shifts fluidly between power and vulnerability: at times bold, vibrant, and unapologetically commanding; at others quiet, fragile, and suspended in moments of loneliness. Through this duality, I explores the emotional spectrum of identity and performance, challenging how we see strength, beauty, and self-expression.
Drag, in his hands, becomes more than costume—it becomes a language. A space where diversity thrives, where boundaries of gender, presence, and reality are stretched and redefined. Each photograph invites viewers to question what is real, what is constructed, and what lies in the in-between.
Thank you for stepping into this world. May these images encourage you to embrace complexity, celebrate difference, and find truth in every transformation.

The original photo was of a sea plane in Alaska. A small plane with pontoons is the way many travel to and from coastal towns and cities in the region. We must have been near the Canadian border, or at least its registration on the side of the plane makes me think that.

It’s a rough and rocky trail that leads to such a beautiful place… the hike up is a little steep to begin with through what seems more trough than trail. You have to hoist yourself over larger rocks through a tunnel of rhododendron for a good way, but then the trail opens up to a large rock shelf… and to this view of aptly named Rough Ridge and Grandfather Mountain beyond.
This is a very popular overlook along the Blue Ridge Parkway. You can find it at Milepost 302.8, in North Carolina. It’s an access for the Tanawha Trail that originates at Beacon Heights and ends at Price Lake. To me, it also provides one of the better views of the Linn Cove Viaduct, which can be seen in the distance on the left side of Grandfather. While all you may notice is a bridge, the viaduct is no less than an engineering marvel… its span connects two ends of the Blue Ridge Parkway with minimal impact on the mountain.
Autumn foliage is a huge draw here throughout North Carolina, and no less in this spot… like many others who find this the perfect place to set up a tripod, I know of ways to beat the crowd. One way is to be prepared for any kind of weather, such as you see here… rough, which seems fitting. This is also toward sunset… you can see light pouring through clouds in the distance, which was as good as sunset was going to be on this evening. Yet, I don’t really see how it could have been better, as this light made the colors pop... in this place, rough is no doubt redefined.

It symbolises my feeling regarding recovery. The hands and the poses symbolises how society and people sometimes put a pressure on us to be ‘okay’. To have that ‘i am fine’ facade. The motion in the water symbolises struggle and emotions.
The water/waves representing elements of calm, chaos, unknown depth, drowning, unpredictability, strength.
All this while having the character sat in a pose which is a bit more confident than the original ‘Sextuple Theory’, and symbolising the need to breathe and keeping calm.
I was already planning to go to London on the 18th when I saw the advert for the Paradox Museum in Knightsbridge which was opening on the 17th. Change of plan, got tickets for the museum and went to check it out. The adverts invite you to 'step into a world where nothing makes sense yet everything feels real'. It completely met the brief and was great for fun photography.
With the school holidays starting this week I guess taking photos will be a bit more challenging.

Нови асфалтни пут ка Ковачкој долини и Питоминама.
► █░▓ It has taken quite some time throughout an extremely fine October and a very dry November (2019) to finish a stretch of mere few hundred meters of this asphalt road. It is connecting Kovačka dolina and Pitomine to the town (seen here). Perhaps the amount of time was really necessary to come up with such an unique sidewalk design as this one. Populated by the lamp poles, it is clearly meant for the heavy drunkards amongst us who need the posts on their way to home after the party has been called quits.
Another novelty is that there is no roadside, which used to be an integral part of the road concept before. But why not make the road extra wide instead? At expense of the roadside. Sounds logical. Every user shall appreciate that. If not for the more surface to his avail, than for the lack of litter usually spread over the wayside. The proposition "no wayside, no litter" seems a fair idea!
Panasonic DMC-G80 with Olympus 40-150mm f/4-5.6 lens stopped down to f/5.6 at it's widest (the shortest end). Handheld. Without excellent G80's IBIS, at 1/100 sec. this image would have been blurred and thoroughly unappealing. Olympus lens has no stabilization itself. I'll see to upload the FD version of the image in some time.
Out-of-the-camera jpeg, slightly edited in IrfanView 4.54 - this ultimate viewing software defies and redefines the boundaries of the flawed platform I've been using it on. It isn't replacement for the Photoshop, Luminar, Corel Photo Paint, Affinity, Lightroom or Capture One. But it takes up a negligible fraction of your resources compared to the hardware hungry aforementioned elephants, and other viewing software, it's rock stable, it's fast even on the old machines and ergonomically it's almost perfect. I've been using it for two decades now on countless many machines and all the platforms since XP that have passed the PC revue, and I honestly don't remember that IrfanView has failed me ONE SINGLE TIME.
Caesars Entertainment is redefining the iconic Las Vegas skyline with The LINQ, an open-air retail, dining and entertainment district, anchored by the world's tallest observation wheel, known as the High Roller. The High Roller observation wheel will be the focal point of the unique urban entertainment district. Each cabin will accommodate up to 40 people and will be available for individual or group experiences.

I find the Book of Revelation a book of mystery: I don't understand a lot of it. It's a book of majesty: (it shows) Jesus in all His glory and His majesty: and it's a book of misery because it shows me the collapse of world systems; it shows the final judgment that's going to come on the world, and it shows the anger of God that's going to be poured out before long. - Leonard Ravenhill
