My downstairs neighbor David invited me over for a little two-person grill party on his back deck, and who knew that there is a whole world of roof life out the back of the house. This is just one of six patios and several gardens in sight.

Tatton Park farm, late December, on a cold but gorgeous day. About an hour before the Nikon stopped working.

This impressive redbrick church was originally part of the convent on this site. After the land was given to the Wrangel family, it became part of their estate and used as their parish church.

Loved the red shine on the flower against the redbrick mattness of the wall

 

Name - Pronounced an-TH00-ree-um. Its common name is flamingo flower or

painter's palette.

I always thought these were a kind of lily, now am better informed
