Randomly located on a street of redbrick terraced houses is this house, a squareish, modern, windowed house and this is the plant and wall outside.
Today I went out to get more photos, but I am not in the mood to play with them. So here is today's photo of the day and yesterday's as part of my new year's resolution to upload a photo a day. I'm going back to the paper now!

Following months of extensive refurbishment, the landmark redbrick Pierhead building on the National Assembly’s Cardiff Bay estate re-opened its doors on 1 March 2010 to take on its new role as a unique events and visitor attraction.

The omnipresent red bricks give Holland a warm streetscape, make a pleasant 'plink' as one cycles over them, and make road repairs a doddle. But they are still building along Westerdok in Amsterdam, and heavy lorries churn them up.
