Loved this guy....Wendy was walking up ahead of me crossing over the bridge on this creek when I saw this guy floating below her. It floated right below her feet.

A dainty red-necked phalarope was the star bird at Covenham Reservoir at the weekend attracting a steady flow of admirers.

We got to really enjoy a small group of Red-necked Phalaropes at Carmel Beach.

These juvenile Red-necked Phalaropes were found at Wakarusa Wastewater Treatment Facility on 8/15/13 and again on 8/16/13. These photos were taken at about noon on 8/16/13 by J & E Harley.
