Made my own cake...made the cake stand, too (out of glass serving plates and tumblers glued end to end). Used wooden dowels and baling twine (never used) for fencing around all three layers. Topped it with hay bales and cowboys hats! Everyone walked past and thought it was just another decoration.
Jeff Foxworthy and Ducks Unlimited would approve....

I really like this custom chandelier, hanging in a gazebo at a country venue where I recently attended a wedding.
Can you believe this guy plays country music?! His name is Mike Hysmith and he plays bass for Jaime Campbell and the Redneck Romeos. Judging by his mo-hawk and KISS tattoo, I'm going to take a guess that he hasn't always played country music...haha. They were pretty good though, and very entertaining.

I caught a ride on a trailer being pulled by dogs belonging to the Sundog Kennel. They were practicing for the Iditerod.
Kinda interesting. Here in Texas we use horses but then I'm not sure how well they would do on a sled mush.
