Uneditied - Red Fox with the TennTom behind him and Plymouth Bluff to his right - He wasn't the least concerned. It was like he was either begging for food or hitch hiking.

So on Sunday afternoon, just as I was about to go into the garden to sort out my fallen grape vine, I looked through the window & saw that my foxy pal had brought her now, quite big fox cubs, which now look like red pandas lol, Anyhoo, I took some awesome shots of the fox cubs fighting and playing with each o6ther and their mother, only to find that I still had the setting on my camera for taking shots of the moon!! Subsequently they all came out black! which means only I will ever know how awesome they actually were lol.:)

They know I am here but seem to tolerate the distance. These guys are about 4 mos. old and are probably shedding a winter coat.

#23 Co-existing (119 Pictures in 2019)

We discovered that a family of foxes, a vixen and 3 kits, are living in a den on our property, just beyond our yard fence. It all began when we discovered a number of golf balls when mowing our field....golf balls? How would they have gotten in our field? (we don't play golf!). Then, a light bulb suddenly appeared...and moved...as did the golf balls. Then upon closer observation, we discovered bones, fur, feathers and all types of clues around the den which is an old and abandoned den that had previously been inhabited by ground hogs. So I've been trying to catch a glimpse of them without creating alarm. Today I took my first photos of the group as they were out enjoying the late afternoon sun. Though I was "hidden", clearly, they saw me (Mom doesn't miss much!) yet she let the kits play and didn't sound alarm. I hope to continue to take photos as the kits grow.

beautiful fox in the evening sun.

Mom to four kits.

Series of six. Spotted the black tips of this fox's ears as it hid behind some undergrowth. Eventually it moved off across the field and then stopped side on for a wonderful pose, then on again until it finally settled down facing me across the field. Not sure whether it saw me (in full camouflage gear) or just sensed me.

What an amazing day! Close to seventy and I spotted Meadowhawks, Fritillaries and Sulphurs flying about. I went to fill up the bird feeders and this beauty was sleeping in the grass. I woke him up but he didn't seem too concerned about me.

The Vole went under the fence and he went away unsuccessful.

We've a new fox at the house, sometimes comes by, pees up our yard pretty good, as foxes do. Establishing territory, I guess. That or it's drunk. Who knows.

Three little red fox kits were playing in a forest clearing. The boldest, perched in the center, climbed atop his two siblings like a tiny king on his throne. Together, they became a mountain of mischief and tenderness. United, they were unstoppable.

Every leap and tumble was an adventure, this mischievous trio ready to conquer the world, forever bound by their joy and solidarity.

They’ve grown so much since this moment, yet it remains one of the most beautiful scenes I’ve ever had the chance to witness.

It's so tough getting decent pictures of these guys.

I spotted him through the leaves. Maneuvering into another position is almost completely impossible. The slightest motion will catch their eye, and forget it if you make ANY noise!

I did the equivalent of some Thai Chi move, slowly rotating my body and stepping forward while lifting the camera to my face. He had his face in his private area, so I made a quick side-step while he was occupied. Of course the lighting was lousy. I got one or two shots off before he spotted me, and that was the end of that! He bolted right into the weeds.
