Most of my pictures are taken in and around the city of Molde, witch is the capital of Møre og Romsdal, in the country of Norway

A rose is a woody perennial flowering plant of the genus Rosa, in the family Rosaceae, or the flower it bears. There are over a hundred species and thousands of cultivars.

They form a group of plants that can be erect shrubs, climbing or trailing with stems that are often armed with sharp prickles. Flowers vary in size and shape and are usually large and showy, in colours ranging from white through yellows and reds.

Red Red Red

I don't understand about complimentary colors

And what they say

Side by side, they both get bright

Together, they both get gray

But he's been pretty much yellow

And I've been kind of blue

But all I can see is red, red, red, red, red now

What am I gonna do

I don't understand about diamonds

and why men buy them

What's so impressive about a diamond

Except the mining

But it's dangerous work

Trying to get to you, too

And I think, if I didn't have to kill, kill, kill, kill

kill myself doing it

Maybe I wouldn't think so much of you

I've been watching all the time

And I still can't find the tack

But what I want to know is

is it okay; is it just fine

Or is it my fault; is it my lack

I don't understand about

The weather outside

Or the harmony in a tune

or why somebody lied

But there's solace, a bit in submitting

To the fitfully, cryptically true

What's happened has happened

What's coming is already on its way

With a role for me to play

And I don't understand

I'll never understand

But I'll try to understand

There's nothing else I can do

Red Squirrel taken near Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales.

There is a purpose built hide in a small wood just outside Hawes which offers superb possibilities to capture these beautiful native Squirrels.

Red-breasted Sapsucker (Sphyrapicus ruber) on a tree trunk clearing out a nest hole. I found a pair of these woodpeckers working on a number of nest holes at Lake Selmac in southern Oregon. They let me get pretty close, but insisted on staying in the shade while they worked. I pulled the car around and tried shooting from the window. It worked much better, but gave me less choices for backgrounds. The gray/blue on this one is Lake Selmac (the bird was only a couple of feet off of the ground).
