We think of glass as fragile, and so a heart made of glass must be easily broken. But glass can also be hard and durable, like this glass heart from Murano, Italy. It may get nicked and scratched, but it would take an incredible force to shatter it. And so, too, with our hearts if we believe in our own strength.

Red velvet cupcakes. My favorite. I made these cupcakes from scratch, but I think the Betty Crocker mix taste better......

I found this red funnel at a Brocante fair. I have a lot of red kitchen utensils and this one fits right in.

Untouched and awesome! The red sky glowed over Longwood Gardens as the red and white lights twinkled below.
Red Tailed Buzzard (native to California and known as a Red Tailed Hawk in the US,) perched on its handlers glove at Chester Falconry Experience.
If you haven't been yet then I can highly recommend it. The displays (weather permitting) are incredible and fantastic for families, especially the Peregrine Falcon. I couldn't get over the speed of them. So fast that I gave up trying to capture it in flight and just marvelled at the grace and speed.
This is another image s.o.o.c from the Sunset at St Blazey. I was late arriving at my sisters as the sky was on fire.
My sat nav sent me the wrong way to my delight. My sister wasn't surprised that I was late as she had popped her head out of her window, saw the sky and said "We won't see Di until it's dark". How right she was. It was worth it thought.
