The Recovery Model as it applies to mental health is an approach to mental disorder or substance dependence (and/or from being labeled in those terms) that emphasizes and supports each individual's potential for recovery. Recovery is seen within the model as a personal journey, that may involve developing hope, a secure base and sense of self, supportive relationships, empowerment, social inclusion, coping skills, and meaning. Originating from the 12-Step Program of Alcoholics Anonymous and the Civil Rights Movement, the use of the concept in mental health emerged as deinstitutionalization resulted in more individuals living in the community. It gained impetus due to a perceived failure by services or wider society to adequately support social inclusion, and by studies demonstrating that many can recover.

This was my dads self built by himself and helpers in the late 60s early 70s, was an 8 legger tipper in its previous guise, this machine never failed to lift or recover any job it was called out to do,there were,nt many decent machines out there at that time like there is today, he always had many decent offers from other recovey companies that could not do the job to buy this wonderfull machine, but sadly was cut up for scrap in the 90s

Don't know much about recovery trucks but I liked this one lol

May 29, 2023 - Stephen Canneto's Recovery. "Two metal two-dimensional figures standing on a silver sphere work together to hold a set of glass, multicolored, interlocking discs.

The inscription reads: "In recognition of the courage of the millions of people with severe and persistent mental illness, schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, and major depression. Recovery is possible for all people. Recovery is an interpersonal dynamic process of embracing hope, defining oneself, and participating in meaningful roles in community. Definition of recovery created and generously provided by the PAIMI Advisory Council Ohio Legal Rights Service."

The sculpture has been used as the model for the Recovery Award, given out by Southeast Health Care's Fresh AIR Gallery. It recognizes artists who have worked in the community to end the stigma against mental illness and promote recovery efforts." The US Navy and NASA recovery teams are on station off the cost of California and ready to recover Orion after landing. Orion is scheduled to make its first flight test on Dec. 4 with a morning launch atop the Delta IV Heavy. The spacecraft will orbit Earth twice, reaching an altitude of approximately 3,600 miles above Earth before landing in the Pacific Ocean. No one will be aboard Orion for this flight test, but the spacecraft is designed to allow us to journey to destinations never before visited by humans, including an asteroid and Mars.

Orion recovery training and operations continue in the Pacific Ocean. NASA and the Navy team on board the USS Salvor are evaluating procedures for pulling a test version of the spacecraft out of the ocean using the ship's crane.
