Here's our photo recap of TX2K12 (GT-R/Supra Nationals). It was an awesome event as usual, and this year brought the biggest turnout in the event's short history.
We took first place in the Unlimited and Modified GT-R class for the second time in a row! We got our fastest personal 1/4 mile time in a GT-R with a 9.53 in Kenny Tran's Stage 5 Jotech GT-R.

Awesome Thanksgiving this year. Watched my favorite balloon go by in the Thanksgiving parade. Deep fried a turkey with dad, ate said turkey, and enjoyed the company of family.

This is outside Wirgley Field. The Cubs just wrapped up a game. I am not sure who won, being a Detroiter I pretty much hate all Chicago teams, so I didn't really care. Wrigley is a fine old park.

friday:
kiki pau - reliable finnish pop rock
broken bells - nice enough, cant remember much
circle - was nuts, over the top, pretty awesome - but couldnt take an entire hour of it :)
air - like watching robots play the music of air, it was very polished, very good but lacked a bit of soul & spontaneity
fourtet - amazing
islaja - just saw a little bit of her set, some times she is great, other times not so much. this was the latter.
saturday
kxp -- i saw a bit of them by mistake, thinking it was uusi fantasia
husky rescue - caught the end of their set (apparently the first half was a bit boring). enjoyable
surfer blood - pretty good
junip - faantastic
beach house - fantastic
major lazer - not my cup of tea, was okay though
joker & nomad - "not my cup of tea, was okay though" part 2
sunday
the radio dept. - we saw the start of the set, was a bit boring, but we caught a few moments from the second half too and that looked a lot better
konono no1 - no idea what to think, they made a good athmosphere, but they looked bored up there :)
caribou - really really good
marina and the diamonds - only saw a song or two, looked entertaining
the xx - oh wellll... rejigged line up due to jónsi cancelling. xx are great, but the sucked a lot of the joy of the weekend out of the athmosphere....
overall
perfect weather, thousands of beautiful people, nice athmosphere, easy to get to, i didnt experience many queues (although i wasnt drinking at the festival so i missed a lot of them) and as i had a guest pass i could get in and our quickly via the quieter entrance/exit
