The reason why I felt like this photo would be perfect for the "Narrow Depth Of Field" category is because i feel like the main focus is on a rock , or rocks you could say but it just focuses on the huge rock on your screen. and the background is out of focus just how narrow depth of field is.

Just posted for nostalgic reasons to show how much the renderer evolved over the years. Old image using simple point light sources and reflection maps (fast, but not photo realistic). The early days of the C++ renderer, and Siggraph was the only place talking about global illumination and their research images took days to render. Until practical techniques came along, along with faster processors.
Above is the reason that the old box is outside of the (closed down) telephone museum unfortunately it will soon be covered with weeds.
