The reason I have chosen this image is that the typeface is very simple but effective at the same time, it can still be effective because it still has been made up of bold text.
The have used a sans-serif style of typeface to create the style of text that they have been using on there logo`s for many years. The typeface is also sharp which helps it make it stand out when you load it up onto your computer, it also stands out when you see it in a computer store or when you see it being advertised on the TV or in a local news paper/ computing magazines.
The created this style of typeface to make it to stand out as a display and a script at the same time, which is effective when the are trying to advertise it they are able to place it on big billboards, in the small print of a news paper or even on the front page of computing magazine if they wanted to were other companies would only be able to do one or the other,

Ward, from Gallery Gachet, was speaking to a crowd that gathered together for a news conference on organized in opposition to the City’s displacement of survival street vendors from East Hastings street.
The City’s latest displacement of street vendors is part of a longer history of criminalizing survival street vending and poverty in Vancouver. Al Fowler explained, “I was street vending before, but I can’t anymore because last year I got a six month conditional sentence for street vending and I was thrown into jail twice. I was made into a criminal because I was a street vendor. But we are not criminal, we are just poor people trying to survive.” Fowler added, “This is not just about the war on drugs, it is the war on the poor.”
The news conference included speakers from Carnegie Community Action Project (CCAP), the Right to Remain project, and Pivot Legal Society. Approximately 40 members, including speakers from Vancouver Area Network of Drug Users (VANDU), Western Aboriginal Harm Reduction Society (WAHRS) and Eastside Illicit Drinkers Group for Education (EIDGE) arrived to the news conference chanting: “Whose streets? Our Streets!”

For reason's unknown to me, Larry seemed to want to throw a party in the parking lot of a motel in Monterey with his buddies from Lawrence Livermore Labs. I think we ended up dragging all the furniture out from the motel room into the parking lot, so we can drink and smoke in style. JOsH
I was going to post the Fusion pictures in order of the bands playing , but I knew I had some great shots of the extremely camera-friendly Annicke Shireen on vocals and keys with Pure Reason Revolution, who closed the show, so treated myself by processing these first. Boy was this some performance! Check out the head-banging shots in this set. It was high-energy stuff from a band on top form.
