Original Felt Alive Needle Felted Wool Sculptures by Kay Petal
I sculpt my characters out of wool with a single barbed felting needle. They are fully jointed with seamless (no thread) needle felted joints.
They are 100% solid felted wool. I do not use wire armatures yet my characters can be posed and positioned very easily while always returning to the same position I created them in. Wool is an amazing sculpting medium!
I like this picture. The idea of the "rearview mirror" shot came from my dad when we were visiting Los Angeles, California and wanted a picture of a Ferrari that was behind us. So Props to Tom Williams III

The 2008 Honda Odyssey is huge. It's so big, that it has a camera built into the vehicle by the license plate so that you can see in the rear-view mirror what's behind you when you're driving in reverse. That's big.

You can see some of the gear added to the rear decks of the models. Many of the 5th company had an un-ditching beam across their rear.
This is some sort of flying insect that was taking a nose dive and trying to burrow into the lawn. Got there too late to catch a front view so here's the rear view!

This is actually SOOC except for the watermark and a bit of a crop. I started editing it in LR a bit and then nothing i was doing was making the image better, so i undid everything, watermarked and left it as is.
In 1883 Ernst Pustkuchen a merhcant from Adelaide built the grand italianate two stroey mansion at Mitcham Hawthorn to take advantage of the new train service to Adelaide. he caleld his house Willowbrook as it sits on the banks of Brownhill Creek. The ten roomed house was later renamed Frimley by another owner. Pustkuchen sold the house in 1897. After 1950 the Mitcham Council purchased the Belair road frontage to convert into a park and library.
Willowbrook now has small grounds but the fine stables coach houses and store rooms still exist too. It has recently been sold and renovated.
