I took this shot last week when I was headed to Kingsbury for the Air Fair and should have pulled off of the freeway much earlier, but it is what it is. I continued to watch my rearview mirror as this one unfolded, but couldn’t find an exit quick enough and a place to stop and enjoy the view. Taken somewhere between Houston and San Antonio.

Trying to grasp a bit of truth about ourselves by gazing in the mirror is futile; mirrors separate the real world from a deceiving world that lures the mind, concealing the truth behind a blur of the reflected immutable past that makes it seem better or worse, but which is utterly not genuine.
The longer we keep looking back in the rearview mirror, it takes away from everything that's moving forward.

Teresa rolled her car this morning heading North on US131. She is ok, a little bump on her head and the car is totaled. Great way to start a Monday!
