So my new thing in 2006 is shooting with my digital Ixus 750 *baby* camera (since the 20D is officially the *monster*).

Since I take motos to and from work I figured it might be cool to do a self-portrait via this form of transportation. I'm not totally happy with how this has turned out, but it's an ongoing project. At least the traffic should be amusing for some of you to see...

Saturday we drove out to Canaan Valley. Today my husband and I drove back home. Tomorrow (Tuesday) we drive back to Canaan again after performing in a concert. The West Virginia countryside is beautiful no matter days in row you see it.

Last Summer I worked three jobs (purely to keep myself out of trouble)

I was really bummed about pissing the whole day away indoors and not being able to experience summer (sunburns and all)...

Leaving work one day, headed home, I caught this beauty in my side mirror. Luckily I had my camera. I still hated work, but seeing this on the way back home made it all worthwhile.
