What causes karma?
Pujya Deepakbhai explains that the underlying wrong belief of who am I, is the cause of all karmas. All the activities-behaviour-speech of the body and ego are considered as your own - which leads to the binding of karma. The real Self-realization is to know and be aware that you are a pure Soul. Karta-bhaav is the root cause of all karmas. If one does anything wrong, then one should do bhav pratikraman (repentance) - seeking for forgiveness (in your mind) from the Soul of the person you hurt.

Prior to realization that the "riots" and "bands of street thugs" were actually blood thirsty undead, this woman was hospitalized for severe lacerations. She eventually died of massive blood loss, only to leap to her feet and attack the hospital staff.
This particular infected has a notable survival/killing tactic, she screams. Her scream is so high pitch and resounding that it immediately draws hordes of zombies to her location. It means she doesn't get shot, and receives the assistance of a hundred sprinting monsters.
A finished version of my original black and white, inspired by the video game Left 4 Dead. (In the concept stage of the game there was a special zombie called the "Screamer." It would see the survivors and take off running. Then it would hide in some dark corner and begin screaming, attracting hordes of zombies. It was cut before release, as the developers felt it was too confusing for new gamers. This is my take on that zombie).
All done on Photoshop. No references used. Screamer name is from Left 4 Dead, Valve Studios
today was the first time I ever had my own large format exposures developed. shown is an image I created of Pritzker Pavilion, in Chicago, a stone's throw from the famous "jellybean" sculpture named Cloud Gate. you can see a scan of this image here.

THE PEDRERA (HOME MILÀ)

History and description:
Antoni Gaudí i 1905 Cornet project. Built between 1906 and 1910 Milà family.
It is an essential Gaudí's residential buildings and one of the most imaginative in the history of architecture, this work is more a sculpture to a building.
Collaborated on the realization of the building, according to PERMANYER, architect Josep Maria Jujol, fundidor Manyach, Josep Bayo constructor Germans Badía, policymakers and Joan Beltran, yesero is important to quote him because the work in the House, plaster constitute a true masterpiece.
The façade is an impressive, varied and harmonious mass wavy stone without straight lines where the wrought iron is also present in the balconies that mimic plant forms.
This supported by walls of brick in the style Gaudí already had developed for the College of Santa Teresa and Bellesguard also Barcelona arcs loft.
The terrado is a lush fantasy, the fireplaces with forms that remember warriors, exits the stairs, etc. make up a forest of figures that surprises varied and the avant-garde of forms.
The building was recognized by UNESCO as "Heritage of humanity" in 1984.

Proyecto de Antoni Gaudí i Cornet de 1905. Edificada entre 1906 y 1910 para la familia Milà.
Es un de los edificios residenciales esenciales de Gaudí y uno de los más imaginativos de la historia de la arquitectura, ésta obra es más una escultura que un edificio.
Colaboraron en la realización del edificio, según Permanyer, el arquitecto Josep Maria Jujol, los forjadores Germans Badía, el fundidor Manyach, el constructor Josep Bayo y el yesero Joan Beltran, es importante citarlo porque los trabajos en yeso de la casa, constituyen una verdadera obra de arte.
La fachada es una impresionante, variada y armoniosa masa de piedra ondulante sin líneas rectas donde también el hierro forjado está presente en los balcones que imitan formas vegetales.
El desván esta soportado por muros de arcos de ladrillo siguiendo el estilo que Gaudí ya había desarrollado para el Colegio de Santa Teresa y Bellesguard también de Barcelona.
El terrado es de una fantasía exuberante, las chimeneas con formas que recuerdan guerreros, las salidas de las escaleras, etc. componen un bosque de figuras que sorprende por su variedad y el vanguardismo de las formas.
El edificio fue reconocido por la UNESCO como "Patrimonio de la humanidad" en 1984.
This was a realization photo. I have been in Assumption many times before, but today it struck me just how huge this place is. I actually looked around and said, "Theres a whole lotta dead people here" I wasan't trying to be disrespectful in any way. It was just awesome to see tombstones (like the ones you see here) for as far as the eye could see. Once you get into the middle of the cemetery it becomes really quiet. It's almost as if the world you just left has stopped. Every time I go in there, I always find something new to look at. For some reason I am very comfortable here and feel welcomed. My husband seems to find it a bit chaotic because the graves are all helter skeltered all over the place, but that is what I think gives it that special charm.
