From VR to the rise of AR, 2016 has seen our virtual and physical worlds collide like never before, with game design leading the way. The November Friday late saw the museum attempt to distort reality across a host of arcades, workshops and playful interventions that welcomed the public into new worlds.

AHF partnered with Pastor Kelvin Sauls and the Holman United Methodist Church in Los Angeles to host a panel discussion and community town hall on Ebola, the deadly virus that has killed nearly 5,000 people in West Africa since March and, with its more recent arrival in the U.S., exposed significant shortcomings in the government and private hospitals’ public health response.
AHF, which cares for over 350,000 HIV/AIDS patients in 36 countries, has lost two physicians to Ebola; Dr. Sheik Humarr Khan, the physician who had been leading Sierra Leone’s response to Ebola and who also served as Medical Officer for AHF’s Country Program there, who died July 29th; and Dr. John Taban Dada, a Ugandan national living and working in Monrovia, Liberia, who died from Ebola on October 9th.

A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.

Augmented Reality is geen nieuw concept maar behoort wel tot interactieve media. In de toekomst zullen interactieve media en augmented reality een geheel worden en niet meer weg te denken uit de samenleving.

Oof... 4 months since I was last here- sorry for being such a rubbish contact! Lots of stuff has been going on since November, I hope everyone had a brilliant christmas and new year. Seems ages away now.
Not much that I want to upload really- been photographing loads, but nothing's really been that inspiring. Really want to get back into more human photography rather than inanimate stuff, it speaks so much more when you can see a face...
I often see this image within a larger context in my dining room. The morning sun light is filtered through a tinted window, thus the slight blue/green color cast

By emphasising the dual location of perception and cognition Overlaid Realities merges the sensory experience of the museum with the environment of the ‘other’, hosting participatory relationships, whilst converging interdependent processes.
KEY HOLE
You might think, I am a peeping Tom. No, I am not.
Key hole shape makes you think that there is something special, interesting or fascinating behind the door......
Well, our lives are not so special, sometimes boring. More or less we have same problems, we try to get answer the same questions.
Disappointed?
Truth and lies every day.
Pretending, delaying, showing off, always fighting against of something.
Against all those stereotypes, systems, opinions and rules.
what we have here is a dreamer, someone completely out of touch with reality. when she jumped, she probably thought she could fly, when she laughed, she laughed with every cell in her body. when she wanders, she escapes reality. when she wonders, she becomes someone else. when she believes, there's nothing quite like the magic it brings. she sees beauty in everything and possibilities in everywhere. sometimes, she seems to be quite unstoppable. but amidst of all that, there are struggles and these are hard times for dreamers. where the world tells them to stop dreaming and to start living. sadly of course, they're right: because all dreamers wake up eventually.

Welcome to GBRF's Noah's Arc Charity Railtour. Photographed on Sunday, August 9, 2015. The "Noah's Arc" is seen here at Newcastle's Central Station. During it's time at Newcastle the train changed locomotives. 47812 and 47843 hauled the train from Glasgow Central. 66701 and 66736 will take the train to Doncaster. Another locomotive change is proposed at Doncaster involving Class 20's, These will take the train to Crewe. At the time of writing this, I don't know if that was reality.
Let's just all be real with ourselves. Nothing is ideal, exact, things will never turn out perfectly. Life is flawed, and that's okay and I'm okay, I'll be okay. Problems are good, I think. They build character, they change us. Let's just accept this. Let's just all come back to reality.
