Japanese eggplant and potato, string beans sauteed with fennel seed, jackfruit curry. (Dinner at Bruce & Nitin's.)
Buttermilk bread recipe, made into a roll, with Marinated olives, feta cheese crumbles and thinly sliced shallots inside.
I decided to try the recipe for rolls that came with my cuisinart stand mixer. The recipe is pretty good, although the baking times were much longer than they needed to be (even without convection fan going). Recipe is pretty tasty, and results in a buttery bun, with a small crumb -- great for sandwiches.
