No interior do Pinhal de Leiria, as Termas de Monte Real, conjugam as memórias das estância termais clássicas, como a dinâmica das tecnologias e tratmentos modernos. Os efeitos terapêuticos desta água eram já conhecidos durante a ocupação romana, datando a sua exploração recente de 1807. Nascida à temperatura de 18 graus, esta água é bacteriologicamente pura, sendo recomendada para o tratamento das doenças do aparelho digestivo, reumático e musculo-esqueléticos e do aparelho digestivo. As termas dispõem de programas de relaxamento e bem-estar. As Termas foram totalmente reconstruídas em 2009 e dotadas com novos equipamentos e serviços.
No interior de uma frondosa mata de 24 hectares, nascem as águas de Monte Real, vila histórica rodeada pelo Pinhal de Leiria.
•Estrutura turística: animação termal, ténis, badminton, minigolfe, circuito de manutenção, piscinas, parques, ciclismo, grutas, pesca, caça, tiro, monumentos, praias, concertos, exposições.
•Indicações terapêuticas: afecções das vias respiratórias, afecções do aparelho digestivo, afecções reumáticas e músculo-esqueléticas.
A concessão destas termas foi atribuída a Olímpio Duarte Alves em 23 de Dezembro de 1916, tendo a área reservada de 100 hectares sido estabelecida por portaria de 12 de Outubro de 1932.
Estas águas, classificadas em 1940 como sulfatadas cálcicas e hipotermais, eram na época indicadas para as doenças do aparelho digestivo. Nesse ano, por falecimento do antigo director clínico, João de Bettencourt, era o médico adjunto, António de Melo e Maia, o responsável pelas termas.
Ainda nesse ano, trataram-se essencialmente doenças gastro-intestinais (66% do total), seguindo-se as doenças de fígado (25%) e de reumatismo (3%), representando as restantes doenças (diabetes, faringites e outras) os remanescentes seis por cento.
Estas termas registaram em 1938 a inscrição de 1.771 aquistas, 2.022 no ano seguinte e 2.028 em 1940. www.monterealonline.com/descobrir.php

Flambient technique. One flash bounce umbrella back left of camera at 1/2 power and another flash in kitchen tucked behind right wall bounced off wall/ceiling joint at 1/4 power.

Lo que son las cosas, un familiar me comentó que este invierno había vuelto a ver un búho real en un barranco cercano a Calatayud, y me faltó tiempo para en cuanto pude darme una vuelta a ver si lo veía...como me esperaba no apareció, ni ese día ni los siguientes. En esto, sucedió que mirando por internet datos del búho real, encontré un blog en el que había fotos tomadas en Juslibol. Un pueblo ahora barrio de Zaragoza, y allí que fui a buscarlo. Para mi sorpresa, lo encontré y pude fotografiar a la primera!
