I have no idea what species of lilies these are. I was at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh in the rain yesterday, and I took this shot from a bridge above one of the ponds there, during a short lull in the deluge. The colours of the leaves in the dull light, were quite spectacular.

When a flock of geese takes off it resembles a chain reaction leading to an explosion of wings. A nearby eagle triggers the snow geese into the air.

This was the best example of recurrsion that I could come up with as I wasn't exactly sure what recurrsion actually is.

Interesting to see this Barred Owl's reaction when a vocal Cooper's hawk flew low overhead. Initially it jumped and turned but then watched cautiously.
Photos taken from a distance along a walking trail.
Thank you for viewing
Just imagine the pre-planning before they even get to the site...then the huge amount of hours and equipment that is needed to construct these very large buildings. It is also very good for people having jobs. I had a fantastic time shooting this site and most importantly to me the fabulous reflections in the glass, crane and all.
Pushing on that trigger is like pulling magic into my very soul...Darrell.
Have a safe and creative day dearest Flickr friends !
THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT AND FAVES
ON THE REACTIONS I WILL TRY TO RESPOND BACK

The vast majority of prisoners stayed in the camp for only a few days to weeks, with a relatively small number staying for months to even years. Those who spent a long time in camp Westerbork, after having recovered from the initial shock of arrest and deportation to Drenthe, got to know the camp as a place where living conditions were relatively good. Abuse and murder were rare, families stayed together, and there was generally plenty to eat. In addition, there were many facilities, including a shop, playground, schools, an excellent hospital and a theater where high-quality shows were put on stage.

We went to Bluebell Woods yesterday near our home for our daily dog walk. I've tended to walk Daisy away from public places to keep safe so this was a real treat and the best thing of all was it was totally quiet, not a soul about, I think a lot of folk had walked their dogs in the morning and we went early afternoon and it was just us.
Just look at Daisies reaction, it literally made me cry...
She literally stood on her back legs, she span round and round and galloped with joy through the bluebells, it was the biggest treat watching her be free and play, it was such a calming and tranquil hour out. Much needed.
My Son is a key worker and has been all a long, but he does it with such grace and dignity, he's only 23 and working very closely with key companies. I know he's so tired and has a lot of responsibility, he works tirelessly day and night from home. Hubby and I are doing our very best to support him remembering at 23 we could go out and see folk our own age and socialise and have fun. Sadly our 16-25 year old young adults will lose this valuable time in their life where they should be free to travel and have fun which is a passage of life so this walk was important.
Hubby and I give him the work space and privacy he needs as its confidential work. We try to make home fun and silly and do lots of family things, cook lovely meals and laugh everyday.
I hope it brings you a little joy.
I will catch up with all your images later but I work from home with hubby and have quite a lot to do today, plus home stuff, plus Daisy, looking after the boys and tending to a lot land.
