The shadows fell in a way that made my apple tree look as if it was reaching out to me.

The island "Saplı Adası" lies in the bay of Akbük and can be reached on foot through shallow water. The island was formed by ash accumulation after a large volcanic eruption in the Aegean Sea in the 16th century.

According to a rumor, the life of the person who collects 10 pebbles from the island will be extended by 10 years.

With rays of warmth, he embraces her soul. Arms, iron strong, surround their love.

Sunshine reaching, fills the room. With feathered whispers, they embrace the day.

I kind of like this image of a fallow deer I was watching yesterday morning at sunrise. I had the camera tripod mounted shooting at around 1/30 second, which is always a bit hit and miss; but I was struggling for light and seem to have got away with it here keeping the ISO to a minimum.

I like these kind of quirky shots.

What a fantastic night... My favorite shot of this series :)

This series is along the Main Street Pier on the Indian River in Sebastian, FL. The location I chose is between two local watering holes that had competing bands...one of which was playing a song 'Riding the Storm Out' ~ and I did indeed ride it out.

For a brief 'Ben Franklin' moment, I contemplated the potential hazzard of standing next to my tripod while holding that umbrella up over the camera to keep it dry...hmmm

💭 Did you know Saguaro cacti can grow to be 200+ years old and 40+ feet tall, in an environment that barely receives double-digit annual rainfall totals coupled with air temperatures routinely exceeding triple-digits?! 💪 Talk about perseverance in the face of extreme limitations! I find myself always awe-struck in the presence of these incredible feats of natural engineering.
