Yonghe Gong is one of the most beautiful parts of Beijing. Despite hordes of tourists, it still manages to retain an air of peace and tranquility.

This is a High Dynamic Range composite made from three RAW exposures using Photomatix, then tweaked in Aperture.

Aperture adjustments: definition, levels, vibrancy, colors.
