Devils Food Chocolate Cake filled with Raspberry Filling frosted in Chocolate Butter Cream Icing. Yum!
Wild swedish raspberries are a true delight. In the summer of 2007 the clear-felled areas of Värmland, in the middle of Sweden, was overflowing with the soursweet little berries. I picked 1,5 liters in just two hours before the flies and vipers had me running back to our summerhome.

This is what passes for a raspberry bumper crop at Maple Hoo. We hoped the many canes we planted the spring after moving in would set up as a massive thicket of awesomeness, but instead it's been a dainty, demure, lightly-producing disappointment. We'll have to plant more next year.
Another batch of very yummy swiss meringue buttercream but this time flavoured with cruched raspberries... YUM!

Lessons: Fruits and Veggies are hard to find perfect. One must look closely at the subject while arranging and try to arrange to hide imperfections for that perfect shot.
Loving the Natural Light thing (mostly).
Soo good- Rhubarb and raspberries, vegan custard poured on top, and sprinkled with oatmeal, hazelnuts and pulverized raw sugar.
Immensely satisfying.
Just a few pictures of things I picked from my garden today - I haven't learned to use flash in photographs yet, so was pleased that these came out so well (in my eyes)
