The flowers of the horse chestnut tree to me always looked like a raspberry ripple "whippy" icecream and if i'm honest still does :)

I've been growing 2 hardy hibiscus plants in pots from seedlings given to me by my daughter.(from her shrub) Knowing that a friend likes hibiscus, I offered him one of the plants to heel into his garden for the winter. In exchange he brought me a box full of his fall bearing raspberries as a surprise thank you!

mmmm a mix of royalty purple, lauren red, and crimson red raspberries from the backyard

The paper thingys were a bit large for them.

Went down to the garden this morning and plucked some raspberries and redcurrants with my grandma in the morning sun. Had a chat with our neighbour over the fences and sat with grandma and had a coffee on her porch after that. Oh Sweet Life!!!
