This is what happens when you wear fishnets and get rink rash at the same time. I slid across the floor during the exhibition games at the state fair, and left some skin behind.
I wiped out on my bike going down a hill. I didn't see the speed bump at the bottom and I went head-over-handlebars.
see side of thumb: kid got the rash after she was in a cast(bad circulation?) a few weeks later the white residu came through her skin too.

Took a corner on a wet road after some rain going too fast, and my bike slid out from under me, and I slid across the road a bit. I came out with very few injuries. My bike is totally fine except for a bit of shredded grip tape. My bike shorts have a few holes now and some roughed-up spots.
I was primarily resting on my left outer thigh when I slid, so now it looks like this. This photo is such detailed gore that it kind of looks fake to me, like a prosthetic from a gory low-budget horror movie.

Rash caused my Theraphosa blondi utricating hairs. Even though this looks bad the worst part was on the palms of my hands. 3 days later and they are still full of bumps and itch like crazy. Photos of those didn't show up though.
1/24/2007: I put lotion on my hands because they were incredibly dry. I realized my mistake when the backs of my hands started burning. Apparently the calming properties of The Healing Garden Lavender Therapy do not apply to skin that, in fact, needs to be calmed. Pity.
