I have embarrassing rashes on my legs. This started a few months ago, and I thought my itchy skin was due to dry skin.
Apparently not.
Apparently the rashes, which are also on the back of my arms, developed because of stress. It actually makes sense, but even in earlier years when I had equal amounts of stress I didn't have lots of bumps on my skin.
I hate it. I try not to scratch, but sometimes the temptation is just too great.
I have a prescribed cream now, so hopefully it well help.
In the meantime, though, I get lots of kisses from Buddy. On second thought, ewww.
There are little scrapes all up and down my right side, along with a few bruises. This is the worst of it. Gravel + Riding around drunk in your underwear don't mix.

An extreme version of road rash that I created. My teacher said it looked a lot more like a burn though.
The dermatologist told me it was caused by crushing a paederus beetle on my arm while I was asleep.
It certainly got its revenge.
Meet Zack. He decided to do a wheelie on his 2006 CBR 600RR at 50MPH behind his friend in a vacant parking lot. As he came down he hit his friends rear tire and lost control. He flew forward over the handlebars. The bike flipped and tumbled a good 50 yards before coming to a hault. The only injuries sustained were a broken ego and some grinded up knee caps. His friend sped up to avoid falling and was not harmed. The asphalt suffered severe gashes, from the 400lbs of flying mechanical hunk, but will likely be okay.

Rash Mela(Fair) is one of the biggest festival in Bangladesh especially for the Hindu Caste People which is to pay honor and homage to Lord Krishna. It is held on the days of Rash Purnima (Full Moon). The Fair takes place in different places of the country as well as in Dublar Char which is an island in Bay of Bengal and a part of the biggest mangrove forest in the world called Sundarbans.
Rash Mela is a 200 years old festival which also started taking place in Dublar Char since 1923.
Many people gather at Dublar Char which is usually populated by seasonal fishermem who catches fished from the sea, process it, make it dried and supply through out the country.
On the Rash Mela, as part of prayer and custom the people pass the whole moonlit night in the fair and in the very morning before the sunrise, they say prayer and take bath in the sea.
Ittybit was diagnosed with Lyme disease. A tick bite in her ear the likely cuprit. She is feeling fine and on a 21-day course of antibiotics. She is already beginning to act like herself again, and is taking the bubblegum-flavored suspension with only a minimum of fuss. The rash is much better than it was yesterday, thankfully. I am hoping this is the last of her run of illnesses for a good long while. I was begining to think that with the amount of times she's been in to see her pediatrician lately they were going to think I was a munchousen-by-proxy candidate. Aside from this latest insect borne disease, which doesn't shock me because we live smack-dab in the middle of the Lyme capitol of NEW YORK STATE) I don't much understand the other viruses she's been getting (not to mention the impetigo). She hardly has contact with other kids. Maybe once or twice a week for a few hours at most. The pediatrician (who is always reassuring) says these things are just going around.
This cream has the feel of a luxury moisturizer and should be used anywhere the skin needs smoothing or relief. Calendula, organic hemp and almond oil help to calm and clear irritation.

This is trivial as far as road rash-- just my mental record of what it means when you are learning to bicycle with cleated shoes....
On 23 feb I read the latest information released by Clifford Carnicom. His report stated that Morgellons rapidly advanced when oxidized.
I felt horrified as I instinctively knew that this problem was going to turn out to be Morgellons and that I had bought it on myself. The fact that I had scabs did not matter.
At first they thought it is scabies... now, as it's worsened and she's running a fever they say it might be fifth's disease. I just want my baby to feel better!
Update: It was not fifths, just eczema aggravated by a milk allergy. It took several doctors visited and mis-diagnosis to figure it out.
When I get home I survey the damage sustained.
One does not expect a pot hole to be that big or deep, or in the middle of the carriageway.
I simply didn't see it and before I knew it the bicycle is disappearing from beneath me.
Luckily I hit the road and rolled over onto my shoulder, I scraped along the road until friction between me and the road surface stopped me.
The resulting injuries are minor cuts and bruises, but nothing when you consider what might have happened.

I have no idea what the RASH means - its not a Spanish word - maybe it is an acronym of some sort.
Anyway not likely to entice many english speakers in to get their hair cut.

340of365 ~ This rash on my daughters face has been all encompassing for me and my husband. I've hesitated posting anything, feeling like somehow it's my fault that she has this thing on her face, but this project is about the life of the photographer so here it is. We've seen 5 different doctors, she's taken 5 antibiotics, 4 topicals and had one skin scraping. It started as a little red dot on her face and grew rapidly, growing each day closer and closer to her eye and down her cheek. She's been diagnosed and treated for impetigo, MRSA and now some kind of fungal infection. I've pulled her from preschool until someone can tell me what's going on, which makes juggling work and home much harder. The blessing through this is that it doesn't bother her in the least ~ no pain or itching. Today we are only applying a new topical, praying it works and sends this mystery rash packing.
On a lighter side, I'm very impressed that I can coordinate her sweater, hair clip and lip color to match the rash. And for my PS friends, there's no make-up (or post editing) going on here ~ she's only 4!
