A mild rash after exposure to poison oak.

Took a corner on a wet road after some rain going too fast, and my bike slid out from under me, and I slid across the road a bit. I came out with very few injuries. My bike is totally fine except for a bit of shredded grip tape. My bike shorts have a few holes now and some roughed-up spots. My elbow got a little rash, as you see here, but it's nothing compared to the awesome welt on my thigh.

Last week I went on a team-build event that involved a certain amount of dunking in water (ie, lots), and I swear this is related. The rash has now appeared on my forearms and it is itchy as hell. Very ouch

This is my husband's right shoulder. He has road rash all over his back and arms because when he went down on my bike he wasn't wearing a jacket. In his defense, he just intended on driving a couple miles on surface streets, but he ended up trekking from Alhambra to Rosemead to Montebello and he was on his way to Pasadena when he laid the bike down.
