I'm showing this card with the stamp to prove I made the 'ribbon' with the stamp. It's probably been done before but I was happy it worked for me, I was never very good at tying real ribbons on cards!

My best friend is one of those Alice in Wonderland obsessives, so for a few of her college projects we dressed up as characters from them for photos and such for her.

This is me ... it was cold, hense the mittens.

This is the first version of the White Rabbit, the newer ones have less sellotape.

Rabbit at The Australian National University.

Taken with a Canon T3i DSLR and Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II with the following settings: f/2.5 1/160 s and ISO 200.

These are our new garden-dwellers. They come from a rescue centre in Gieten www.opvangaaenhunze.nl/index1.html and are about nine months old. We've made them a hutch and I'm going to expand it with a pen so they will have lots of room.

Angora's are a fiddly kind of rabbit, they need to be brushed regularly and about once every three months their fur needs to be clipped because it keeps on getting longer and longer and it is very warm (about 7 times as warm as sheep's wool). And ofcourse I'll spin it!

The dark one is Franky and he's a castrated male. The white one with black patches is Anouk and she has a strong will. And very peculiar eyes, blue with the top third of her irises brown. They are sweet, I hope I can give them all the love and care they need.

Headed out to photograph a Barn Owl last night. I was hoping between the rain storms the owl would be out. Unfortunately the bird didn’t show but managed to capture a few rabbit shots.

The heavens opened as I was walking back to my car and I was soaked top to bottom.

A little aside at the YSP a rabbit eating a dandelion flower.

it was just sitting by the front door one morning hanging out.

Aren't they just fascinating?

SOOC

This afternoon it was raining and I noticed this little guy (or gal) in our back garden! They didn't seem to mind me being there, so I was able to get some pictures through the window! A few minutes later a Squirrel came by and it ran away with it's white cottontail behind it. Nice to see such a healthy rabbit!

Taken near Charmouth, Dorset; this little fellow was far from shy and agreed to pose for this photo.

Baby Rabbit taken with an old Hanimex 400mm f6.3 lens on a Canon 600D

I think this rabbit was born and bred in my garden. It certainly resides there now.

Very young rabbit standing totally still for a few seconds before bounding away!

Silly Wabbit

Happened to look out the window this evening and saw this little guy (or gal...) out there. So I snapped on my 70-200 and went rabbit hunting. Amazingly he let me get pretty close (this is a crop but I kept 10 out of 18mp) and I managed to get a couple of in focus shots.

Bigger on my blog.

See below for more photos.

some major enhancing in PS, it made the photo distorted and weird near the top. But I still think it looks nice.
