A mixed bunch of London CUOntry vehicels provide the supporting cast to the RT.

Owego & Harford engines 2211 & 2302 power a southbound train through Richford, NY. The first dump-truck was taken by surprise and had to hit his brakes pretty hard in order to stop before the crossing. Traffic on this former Lehigh Valley line is not nearly as busy as the traffic on route 38.

Having completed the turn, the blinds were re-set and passengers loaded for Arnos Grove.

Blinds set, 624 heads for the turn.

Posted before but this one is better processed and cropped.

Shortly after RT 2991 made the turn into Western Road, so does Barking's (BK) RT 669 bound for Harold Hill (Gooshays Drive). The right indicator is flashing although turning right here is the only option: South Street northwards from here is/was pedestrianised).

Oh, yes, and here's the second bus that always arrives after a long wait!!

Lurking in the shadows, 1790 and 2773. 1790 is still around, 2773 departed to Wombwells in June.

McLean, TX along old Rt. 66. It looked like a ghost town!

Converted to DMS one-man operation in May 1973. This picture would have been taken a little before. The location is the junction of Stanstead Road and Catford Road, just before Catford. The destination is Blackwall Tunnel - extended there in the peaks not for the O2, but for the Delta Metal Works. An SMS on the 108B passes on the other side of the road.

Learning to drive the hard way, in an RT, with an instructor yelling in your ear. It worked for thousands, "Chiswick Trained" was a badge of honour.

Snowy day along Rt. 30, near Mason Lake in the Adirondacks.

This RT colour scheme may upset a few London enthusiasts but it looks rather nice in the long lost Leicestershire Independent livery 'Browns Blue'. Complete with local adverts KLB 596 made it's debut at the 2012 Leicester Vintage Bus Running day in September.

The RT makes a nice contrast with the Leyland bodied PD2 parked behind.

An RT has strayed on to the 35. Pictured at Brixton station. Probably in 1973. Notice the footbridge there used to be across the road here. Ugly, and awkward for pedestrians. People counted for little against cars in the 1970s.

Location: what the hell is "Ferndale, Lambeth"???

The 144 went OMO in Jan 74.

Location is Angel Corner, Edmonton.

The bus wasn't really allocated to L (Loughton) garage!

This junction has been extensively remodelled since this shot was taken.

Ready to go - Nov 2012

I've finally finish the AT-RT also commonly known as clone walker.

From the Rendered version to this one I had to change a few things, either because there weren't the parts in the color I desired or because I thought the new parts would look better. Color wise, I changed the feet to DBG, changed the bigger cilinders in the legs from olive green to LBG and also changed the quarter round tiles to LBG. Appearance wise, I decided to change the turret, the rendered version was too long and didn't feel quite as good in the overall composition as this one does. I also had to make custom pieces that mimic the piece no 886956 which only exists in pink but looks very accurate to the model in-universe, I had to use it!

Hope you like it!

Right at the very end of RT operation in South London in 1978 one strayed onto the 47, a route that had been converted to RM three years previously.

The SMIT Kotug tug RT Ambition sailing down the River Thames, past Gravesend.

Piccadilly Bus Tours of Ottawa operated RT 4743 in July 1980. RT 4743 was an ex-London Transport RT built in 1954 with a Weyman body and fitted with a Park Royal body in 1971.

Pioneer RT-909

Coming back in from a road test.

Passing through Hornchurch High Street on route 193 is Seven KIngs based RT 3712 (AP), on Thursday 27th February 1975. RTs survived on this route for another nineteen months until conversion to RMs on 3rd October 1976. 2H-5.

Catford's RT 280 (TL) passes Beckenham Hill station on its way from Woolwich to Croydon. Friday 10th March 1978. 4C-19.

AT-RT scout unit used during by the republic during the clone wars

An RT and a DM stand outside WL garage early in 1976. Having led an eventful life and closed at least twice it is now an important base for Abellio - much to the disquiet of Go-Ahead London Central across the road at Camberwell!

And still it soldiered on.

Rather better than the Ikea picture of a battered RML in the same bus lane! Headed north in mid '77.
